actually.. a built 60 would work a lot better.
What did you break on the 44?

i've got yukon chromo's and ctms in mine and beat the **** out of it without a hiccup with 38's.

ujoint/ears off the stub shaft, sheared an ear half way off the short side inner.

stock shafts.. no money to upgrade. I kinda want Mosers, i've heard Yukon can be pretty sketchy about their warranty..
once i get the shafts up graded I'll go to a 36 probably.. idk how much room I'll have once the body lift is off.

I need to get the damn body lift taken off, but first i need to either do coils or put the shackle in the back.

the .25 wall?

I still have the section I cut out, i may put that back in.. but I'm going to move the cooler mount to the back, and build a second one.. the put them back to back opening to the side.. a Beer and Not Beer cooler

I know how to drive you *** the tire was in a hole, i let out on the clutch and it went bang.

about 12.5"

we did the whole thing in 3 hours, and i had to go to work.

I see how you did it, just cut along the bottom edge of the bed then welded it back on at an angle?.. I wanted to make it clean but having the spray in bed liner would have made welding a pain in the ***, I got the idea from my buddy who dove tailed/bobbed his 94 yoda.. maybe I'll get another bed and try again haha, Or i'll just cover up the hack job with the spare tire(s), coolers, spare parts, tool box, blah blah blah..

As for the D44, its gonna cost close to $1,100 to get Moser's and CTMs.. which really makes me consider a 60.. but the 44 is geared/spooled and already under the truck.. ughhh stupid truck..

funny story, his name is Justin too.

I smacked my D44 around a few times last weekend, and got hung up pretty good on it once..

Maybe I'll get a D300 and not flip it, then run a toyota 8" front axle

Just get some shafts with some good u-joints. You probably just broke a u-joint which caused the ears on the shaft to go with it.

Those 29" tires you run shouldn't blow up a 44 too easily

yea.. I cant afford huge tires, and the ground clearance with a 60 on 35s would be killer.
