theyre ok. they suck in mud. they kick butt on rock. handling on the road isnt too bad. im stilled geared at 4.10 so i dont ever have a problem losing traction. haha. not bad tires, but i def wont ever get them again

yea, ask the side of my truck about that one. if the tires get wet, they suck. but otherwise pretty good

reviving this old , dead, forgotten thread with these simple pictures...

not a huge fan of the rings but i can get new ones. no big deal. needed some new wheels because last week a wheel fell off my truck and needless to say that wheel is a goner. anyway, been wanting some beadlocks anyway and i got the set for $275. pretty much steeling them

beadlocks! my buddy picked them up in austin today and sandblasted them for me. everything but the ring. just gonna hit the rings with a flap disc and clean em up. they were nice and clean and of course, what happens on the way home? rain....yes. rain in san antonio texas. longest drought since the 50s and it rains when i go pick up my freshly sandblasted rims.

but anyway, pics!

gonna rock the smokey beadlocks for now until i get my guy to cut me a new set. gotta come up with a kickass design though..

wow its been a while since i updated this thing. finally getting to work on the ranger again for the first time in a couple weeks.

heres whats happened since the last time i updated. transmission blew up, got a new one from a 2000. stupid me, its the wrong transmission. so i pulled the engine, got a good deal on a 351w(still in the truck so i have wiring harness and everything) and im gonna run it. took off the superlift/rcd conversion and put a d44 from a 79 f250 under there and an eaton ho72 in the back. and today i took off from work early and went and worked on finishing up my front crossmember..

also got the frame cleaned up quite a bit..

still have to cut out my old trans crossmember bracketry and the old gas tank crossmembers...

and need to gusset and finish up the front shackle hangars..

ill just gusset them and cut off the rest. keep it simple.

also scored a char-lynn orbital that im pretty stoked about.
