Im going to do the exhaust eventually, but am thinking about just cutting it off at the muffler for now. Opinions?

 

Before I read that last part, I was going to suggest you cut it off since all of that pipe is after the muffler anyway. It should sound much different, if at all.

I always cut mine after it goes over the axle. Acts as a downturn.

 

Just cut it off like Casey described.

 

Or I may cut before the muffler, its awful close to the boot on my shock

I'm thinking I might do that. If I don't, I can always clamp the muffler back on and cut off the rest.

Update time!
Well, I got the topper back on and got the truck all buttoned up for now. Stereo is back in and second battery is hooked up and working perfectly! Also got my CB all hooked up and got the Antenna mounted. Also had to fab some makeshift bumper brackets out of 1" angle in order to support the whip mount. Also got my spare- 35x12.50x15 Mud Claw for $220 because the tire shop didn't want to give me change for $225 when I handed him all twenties. It sits cozy in the bed beside the second battery





Last thing I had to do was get a FFR (Florida Ford Ranger) sticker before I went to their meet in Clermont next weekend. The one I got from them all sorts of sucked, so I had my sign lady make me a better one.

I also added the bumper decal to help tie in my flag.



I'm really liking the new look and how many compliments that I get on it. Even better than that is seeing the stares when I drive by

 

Truck looks great man! Can't wait to see what Brian says about your FFR decal, because his really do look terrible. Maybe he'll try and do a better job with his.
