Didn't get as much done as I wanted to,but its progress. I cleaned up the back half for paint and started that. After the paint then I can start thrown the fuel system together and start her up. I got side tracked a bit adding some tube that I had meant to do a while back, I "X" braced the shock towers. Also I may add some tube back to the bedcage from the bedside mounts, just kinda realized yeah those are kinda just hanging out there and may like some support
So far I have all the parts I need so only thing stopping me is..me.
few pics of the bracing and fresh paint starting.

Dude you shoulda por-15 then paint! Cause then you get rust proofing plus por-15 makes it glossy...followed by header paint = never rust...
Because we know in MN it'll be rusting thru next year. Well maybe not if it's not really a DD..
Also, just so ya know, our spring in Alaska is looking as much like winter as it is in Minnesota. Still 2 feet of snow on the ground but at least roads are dry..

we are still getn snow, just got 14" last Thursday and getn 4-8 tonight. ***** crazy..the lake might still have ice on it for walleye opener may 11th..that's insane.
por15 aint cheap..and i don't like it's finish. plus it won't see salt so I'm not worried. I'd maybe get a small can for the frame some day.
the blue was me seeing how it would look. my colors were going to be gunmetal grey or flat black plastidiped body with blaze blue accents. I have blaze blue plasti for the wheel lips, over the machined lip. so i was maybe going to do the tube the same. i may just do the wheels and my coils blaze blue and do the tube flat black or silver to not have too much blue. I'll figure out something cool don't worry..just want it to be different.

little update:
It was super nice here this weekend so I was able to get some work done with the garage door open..but also hard to get work done cause I wanted to also be outside and grill and have some beers. And also drive the nova some
- Made my UCA gussets and welded them on
- Got most of the paint done so I could get the fuel system mounted and plumbed
- Got my optima battery box mounted
- Got my fuel pump mounted on the frame rail. Was a little tricky finding a good spot to mount it within the 2ft or less of the cell that's recommended. Now I can start to get my fuel lines made and plumb it all up and be ready to start it up soon.
UCA Gussets
Gussets welded on
Battery box mounted
All painted and ready for re-assembly. I just need to get the suspension parts re-painted as well and thrown back on. I also need to order some CV boots
Fuel pump mounted inside frame rail next to the fuel cell.
