Thanks guys! yeah it's almost 30 years old and Its the cleanest vehicle I have haha
I hear you. I don't plan to ride it a whole lot, just some short trips here and there. I mainly just like building them. I see you have a new truck in your sig. nice!

No real big update yet, but I will finally have some time to breathe outside of work soon so I'm going to try and get at some of my projects. I did pick up a 4l80e and a t-case a while back so that's all ready. Can't remember if I posted that or not yet. Hopefully get at the motor mounts first and get the motor on the frame and go from there as far as fabrication goes. I do think I have my plans figured out on what to do about headers or should I say manifolds And I think they will solve any space issues and also bring more smiles than some longtubes.

been doing a few things and really trying to get it back together this winter. picked up 5 Walkers a few months back for dirt cheap, and finally got around to getn some rubber for them. making motor mounts and trans mount right now. then its get the turbo kit mounted and make sure everything clears etc. measure for driveshafts etc. then cab can go back on and get working on all the cage work.

thanks man!
believe it or not they are actually pretty damn heavy for AL wheels. well that combined with the not so light Generals doesn't help. I think they are like 43lbs a piece! but they are some beefy *****. I would never have owned a set at full price, but I found 5 for less than the price of 2. I really want a 6th one for 2 matching spares, and its hard to even stomach the price of a single one haha

Got a little done. Motor mounts done, plan on adding some gussets to them still. Need to work on the trans cross-member next. Have a universal kit all cut out so that should be pretty easy to get done. Looking to get the T-case mounted up and make the drive-shafts next also. Then get the cab back on it, after I make sure I have all of the hard to reach places done. Headers will be interesting. Stock manifolds fit, just would be tight at the frame where the exhaust connection is. Have to do see if the front facing turbo headers I want will clear if I still go that route too.
was kind of a bitch to do it without a helper holding the motor where I wanted while I was measuring for the mounts. Took quite a few checks and re-checks and 2x4's and clamps and other jerry rigged **** to get it done. but it's done and I can move on.
Also picked up a SWAG Offroad finger brake kit I need to weld up too.
