i just noticed, havn't posted pics in a while, but i NOW notice when i goto post my photobucket line, R/F conviently uploads my pictures to the server, why does it do this? i do not like this feature

 

 

Hmm, didn't do it for me. Did you just post the IMG code one that PB gives you or what?

 

I grab PB img tag and when i submit the reply, it shows up in the bottom box.

Yes, convenience was one of the key things we were looking at when developing and implementing the changes. One of the biggest complaints we get from users and visitors is that posts are missing images and show a big red x. This is usually due to offsite images being lost. So yea, this made it easy for everyone who is interested in sharing their pictures.

Not sure how I can improve the feature so you like it. I will see what i can do. PM me your ideas and suggestions.


As for the other comments. This modification is only working in Ranger specific areas, but basically just not in the offtopic.

 

i think it's a great idea and don't have a problem with it. i have noticed a lot (not just here, think it's my computer/internet service) that pics don't load. also have it happen with sites. so to have the pics there always is a good idea to me.

 

Ah, I get it now. Thats awesome, no more lost how-to pictures!!

Yes, that's what we are referring to.

 

I hate how it makes it an attachment automatically. This should only work on how-to's. I can't even copy the picture URL and post it to imgur.com because the file type isn't supported. Really annoying.

 

From RF to imgur or imgur to rf? Sounds like RF to imgur

The response has been overwhelmingly positive and some people find the Attachment Gallery a good time waster
