Icon13 Poly Performance

So I placed an order over at Poly Performance 2 weeks ago, December 8th

1200$ worth of shocks and brackets. not a small order.

Says it will all ship that day. And I will get an email with tracking.

Tuesday no tracking
Wednesday no tracking, I call, parts on back order, will ship Friday, ok cool, fine with me.
Thursday no tracking
Friday no tracking

Monday no tracking, I call again, he apologizes and says he will ship everything but the dual rate kit. Cool. That will at least make the project get some where Christmas weekend.
Tuesday Tracking! W00t.
Wednesday no update on the tracking
Thursday no update
Friday (today) I call, card wouldnt clear? I guess my debit card has a limit? Never heard of such, whatever, so they never called me all week, they knew this since Monday. I give him my CC # and he asks if I want him to run the card number, well duh! SO he runs it, all good, and he 'claims' it will ship today.

I have a crap ton of free time this weekend, now I cant do anything with my project until that gets here. An entire week wasted.

Personally I dont think I will order anything from Poly Performance again. Promise stuff and dont deliver. Even if it was my cards fault they should have called me. I used my debit card for much higher purchases no problems at all.

I may just be frustrated because I had so many things planned out this weekend and nothing is going to happen.

Your not over reacting. I would do the same. If the card didn't go through they should have called you when they tried it. Not wait for you to call them. Thats BS if you ask me.

I hate when vendors dont understand the how to communicate with their customers. Nothing is more annoying than that IMO. Ive had the same problems and it drives me crazy lol

i would have thought your bank should have called you when they declined the transaction. if there is a limit and it is exceeded, it usually sends up a red flag and someone gets a phone call... ill be willing to bet they never ran it, lost the order, and just made some bs story up... you could always call ur bank and see if they really tried to process a transaction.

Usually bank debit cards have a $2000-2400 daily limit.. it technically should not have given you a confirmation of shipment if they card didnt even go through. Something is fishy..

That was a made up story, I use it sometimes if I write the number down wrong or just plain forget to run the card.....

Now I run the card with the customer on the phone.
