Scangauge and ethanol scam free gas!

Anyone ran the ethanol **** then switched to normal gas? Usually im about 19.5 freeway and ive recently found 5 conoco station around me with ethanol free gas, last saturday i filled up and headed to the mountains, on the way home my sg was reading 23.6 avg. I noticed before i was around 130 miles and the needle would be half tank, now at half tank i drove 155. Anyone else had this experience? Finally i found real gas! I cant wait to run it dry and fill up again and calculate the avg, my sg is calibrated and always is within .1 or .2 of what the pump says on fillup. When it said 23avg i was doing 65 for a 30 mile stretch flat ground.

fuel with ethanol , tricks your engine computer into thinking your engine is running lean

so it starts pumping more fuel in to your cylinders

that is why you see vehicles with the FLEX FUEL badging

the computer is programmed to properly analize the ethanol vapors in your exhaust

You will usually always find that ethanol enriched fuels net worse gas mileage.

Im just glad a few places carry it, it had more throttle response and so far gets better mileage, its definatly worth it. It was 3.09 and on the rez i get gas at 2.96.

Yeah my truck runs significantly better on the REAL gas like it was made to be. Stinking ethanol.
