if i idle the truck it idles fine and runs good but in like stop and go traffic or at lights the truck smells like gas and idk why? i race motocross and the smell of gas is fine but its strong smell. has anyone had this problem or might know whats wrong?

check simple stuff like a possibly rotted filler neck, or maybe the plugs are old and dirty, and dont burn all the gasoline in the chambers. possibly small leaks at the fuel pump, lines, or tank itself..

 

x2 on the filler neck hose . Known problem if one bothers to search the site.
