Looking for recommendation regarding a good company to purchase a long-block. I priced engines from multiple sources. Eagle engines, Advanced Powertrain solutions APS, Powertraindirect, Ford (Too Expensive) Jasper. Any suggestions. For the most part the prices are the same.

Call local machine shops, they often have good sources for rebuilts, short or long block, or will rebuild one.
Local pick up and local warranty

 

SOHC or OHV? purchased a used one from a yard, that's what I did.
