But I've also got a lots of money/mods spent/done to it too.

my 07 fx4 off road has only 4000 miles on it now. i got 330 miles to a tank back in the summer months both local and highway driving. i get much better mileage on the highway then city. now that its getting colder im getting 300 miles or less on a tank. looks like this winter ill get between 15 and 19 mpg? city driving.

At the 1K mark on an 08 4X2 I'm getting a straight 20 even, almost all urban driving. Not really broken in yet though.

18 city, 21 average, 24.99 highway (60MPH), 23 highway (70)
That's in a 2WD Explorer Sport, while not a 4x4/FX4, I think the weight is similar!
Rolling on 31's.
