Shane tells me I have a 19gal tank, but the needle hits "e" at like 15.9 something... So I fill up when it hits "e" usually...

I have a 4.0 with auto trans... 4.10 gears and 35's..

I get AT MOST... 240mi to the tank... I usually get around 180 or so... Hows that for mileage? lol

Your extended cab, you have a 19 gal tank....Measuring by quarters dont work beleive me....All you do is set the trip and run a FULL tank down, fill up and divied the trip reading by the gallons filled up

I was reading somewhere for my energy class...

I think it's from 65-70mph... you use 6% more fuel goin from 65-70... Or maybe it's 60-65... Still that's crazy lol

haha..

yeah you really lose efficiency after 60mph. I've been setting cruise control to 65 MPH on the highway (used to do 70 MPH with a lot of passing-pedal to the metal passing!) and saw a pretty good difference in mileage. I would get around 100 miles to a quarter tank, now I can get atleast 120.. 240 miles to half a tank isnt bad, and thats with a 14.5 gal tank! I admit I feel like a granpa driving on the highway, but it's worth it in my book. I get to sit back and laugh at all of the idiots driving 80+MPH in their gas guzzling tahoes and rams!

Im getting about 240 a tank on a 19 gallon tank.

The gas light comes on and my scangauge still says i have 45-60 miles left. so by that im getting almost 300 to a tank.

Remind u this truck hasnt had its 1st oil change yet, and is a auto 4.10

I get aroud 14 mpg with 95% city driving. The auto tranny shifts at too high an rpm IMO.

Edit: Thats taking it easy with 3.73 gears and 235 tires.
