I don't see how just replacing the body panels would total it, being how new of a truck it is. That sucks man

Fenders, Hood, Door or trim, maybe have to do something about the roof. Paint. It all adds up and they could take it and sell it and do there things with it to get most of there money back.

Ah yeah the roof wouldn't be replaceable, I forgot about that. I was thinking that all the other body panels could be replaced.

I doubt its totalled dude. They will probably send it to a pdr specialist, paintless dent repair. They'll use suction cups and suck the dents out. It happened to my wifes car.

Paintless dent repair works alright for small dents on a flat panel.
Dents like that on a curve or ridge are next to impossible to fix with PDR. It would always be visible to some degree.

The windshield, hood and fenders are replaceable for a few hundred bucks. The doors, as well if that little trim piece isn't replaceable by itself. The insurance company isn't going to total a 2007 truck because of some minor dents on parts that are easily replaceable.

The roof could be difficult though. How are the bed rails?

If they do total it, buy it back and drive it. Then it won't matter if it gets another ding.
