Here's my '98 Ranger XLT 4x4. My Grandpa bought it new and passed in '07. It's been kept in the family but abused hard so I'm giving it it's 2nd chance on life.
Front bumper is FINALLY finished. I'm not a fan of the bar grille so I will eventually swap to the honeycomb version.
Looks good. How long have you had the after market headlights? Looking to get a set myself, just not sure which style. Either the ones you have or the smoked.

The headlight housings were on my 2003 so I've had them for a few years now. They were just random black backings from Ebay. They only tend to last about 3 years before they start to yellow. You have to really stay on top of the maintenance with all of the aftermarket replacements to keep them from yellowing.
The corners came from Amazon a few months ago. I don't care for them due to the clear halos that surround them. I would probably go with smoked housings if you don't care for the halo effect on the corners like me. I might end up switching these out at some point down the road or maybe finding a way to fill the halo with black paint.
My 2003 has custom 2008 corners that I opened up and modified myself. I painted the outside lip too so there would be no halo effect. Old picture from 2017, but you can see the 2008 corners pretty well and how they're basically all black with no halo effect.

Yeah i see what you mean. looks better. The ones i'm looking at have the corner that are more like the stock corner but in black. Have seen a few Ranger with the smoke look and i just do feel it. Thanks for posting that pic. Helps me chose.
How much work is it to put the Ranger that low and does it still drive good?
Greetings Olds1
For the red truck it's a matter of flipping the rear axle over the springs, and then installing the lowering coil springs and control arms.
But for trucks like your yellow Edge and my white Edge, they have a different type of front suspension setup that doesn't work well with lowering. Furthermore, the kit that I used on my red Ranger will not fit on the Edge Rangers since they have a different front suspension setup (torsion bars instead of coils).
Recent snow. Got to test the 4wd and original pulse vacuum hubs (PVH). Surprisingly, all worked flawlessly!
My wife got me a new touchscreen head unit for Christmas. Amazing to have android auto in the cab of this old truck.
Parts installed:
Head unit - Belva BMV62W
Dash mounting kit - Metra 95-5600
Wiring harness - Scosche FD16BCB
