The Superlift aint that bad. Its fairly inexpensive, and durable. Mine has been on 3 years already with no problems. Only complaint I have is the crappy ride, and shocks. That's why I'm currently exploring my options with Coilovers.
Yeah I've read that the shocks are crap. Some better replacements shouldn't be too expensive though. The front end is probably stiff as hell due to the need to crank to T-bars all the way up, I guess that's standard to lift a Ranger though.
Used Rangers are plentiful on Craigslist. Took me a while to find mine though. Most of them have a crap ton of miles or are all beat to crap. Seems no one takes care of their stuff anymore.

Clean trucks that aren't over priced are rare here.
My latest upgrades--custom exhaust, spare tire mounted finally and new tires-bfg ko2`s nice and quiet ride now--big difference from my noisy Duratracs.

I got this one for 500 bucks because it blew the tranny, fixed for 1700 bucks and only thing it need is some tires and inspection next month and im good to go. Maybe look for a decent one that needs a tranny or something and can get it cheap and fix it.
Nice truck Whisky. You keep those wheel nice and shiney, I like it! What muffler(s) are you running for your exhaust?
thanks, muffler is simular to a magnaflow stainless steel. Rims are a big pain to keep shiny, will probably plastic dip them black next summer until I get new ones.

I don't have the time not desire to work on a truck for my mom. I have my own 7 cars to maintain.
She's selling her pristine Fox body to pay for a ranger, so I'll have the budget
Good luck finding one.... are u looking for auto or stick shift?
Moms got limited use of her left leg due a horse accident, so auto. Basically she wants my truck(99, 4.0, auto, 150k miles, no issues, $4500) but I bought it for my oldest to drive in a few years.
