I'm maybe sitting around 280-300 with the current mods on the car.
Unless your full bolt ons with full exhaust and cammed your not at 300rwhp.

My old 03 GT I had 4 yrs ago was full bolt ons and full exhaust with stock heads and cams and it dynoed 284rwhp with a custom dyno tune.

If your wanting to get the best bang for your buck go F/I.....thats my plan for my currrent 03 GT. The only mods it had now is short throw shifter, bassini cat back,SCT X3 tuner on the 93 octane performance tune. I bought the car back in May.

I don't think anyone was talking about RWHP here, just factory ratings. (which are always flywheel hp of course)

Isn't it sickening how little power the early 4.6's put out? I know my 95 z28 with headers, cat back, and cai was knocking on the door of 300rwhp. I remember seeing a Car and Driver challenge of a 99 GT vs a 99 z28 and it wasn't good for the mustang. It was bad enough being the owner of a mid 90's GT when the LT1's were out but it must of been miserable when the new 98 LS1's came out.

Mustang terminology lesson -

Fox body/Fox chassis - Mustangs built between 1979 and 1993. 1979-1986 models were also known as "four eye" cars. 1987-1993 were known as "aero" cars.

SN95 - Generally refers to the 1994-2004 cars. Some groups reserve SN95 to cover the 1994-1998 models only though.

New Edge - New Edge cars are the SN95 models from 1999-2004

Terminator - 2003/2004 Cobras. The secks and pinnacle of regular production Mustangs up to that point. Still awesome to this day. I would love one.

I love both of your cars. Not crazy about the GT bumper on the Notch, but the rest of the car is beautiful.

Maybe so, but we were talking about FWHP at the time and you came in assuming I was talking about RWHP. Next time before you assume something maybe considering asking before trying to correct someone when you weren't doing any correcting at all. Also maybe consider posting some pics of your mustang in this thread too

FWHP means Front Wheel Horse Power. I just want to know what makes you think your sitting around 280-300 fly wheel, crank whatever HP. Only performance mod you listed in your last mustang thread was a CIA. I guess you think it gave you 20-40 HP.

I had a K & N CIA and it gave me a whole 3 more HP.

RWHP is what matters....You cant race a flywheel.
