You need to do a V8 swap!! It would be cool to see you shooting huge amounts of roost out from behind you after those corners.

Ouch, that last video looked painful!
That is a really short course though, you can tell that your truck is set up too soft for that but I bet it rocks for cruising in the desert!

Yea, they are pretty rough... haha. The friend of mine that has them clay bared them while I was out of town (along with detailing the entire truck) and they look a little better. I'll go to town on them when I get them back though and make them sparkle again.

It's kind of a eerie feeling, like you're floating, but you get used to it and then it's just fun. It's the landing that sucks... haha.

i like your truck with the 35s better. lol

btw that trans must still be holding up ok? haha
A month later both of us are holding up well, so I'm thinking it was just muscle pain. Thankfully. I expected worse from it.

I like it with 35's too... can't wait to get them back on.

Trans is doing great! I've beat the snot out of it too.. hahaha. It does have this weird violent downshift when cruising around the street. I don't know if I did that to it or if it's a result of the work you had done to it and is normal, but it still works fine so I just ignore it.

If I get ambitious I would change the springs to a stiffer rate in the front, lower the truck a bit, and shorten up the rear travel. Problem is I go to Pismo (sand dunes) the week before each year and finding the ambition in the week in between is hard... lol

Overall with the truck I'm going to tear it completely apart and give it a full tune up. It's been over five years now and things are getting worn. Nothing is planned performance or suspension wise until I grenade the engine or trans again.
