Met a guy with an explorer 4x4. he went first got stuck not to far in i pulled him out backed in twice figured i could make it went in foward and broke through the ice.

You didnt hurt the wheel bearings or calipers?

 

No everything else is fine other than the fogs..

 

and you say you are afraid to go to the dunes because it messes up stuff... YA OK...

redneckstone- i know running an quad (to southern folk its atv or 4 wheeler) sand is the worst thing you can run your quad through.. its like rubbing sandpaper to the bearings, my quad will never see the sand. ever..

no amount of money or time would would "build" a truck or quad for sand.. i'd run mine through mud before sand... yes my quad (i've been riding quads for half my life) has seen its share of mud.

 

ya i learned my lesson last year to never wheel in ice ever again. I didn't break anything but i came very close to completely denting a pipe closed underneath.

 

4wd donuts in a small *** parking lot dont mix with a chain link fence pole...
