Dynomax Thrush Turbo, deep growl!

Just installed this muffler on my 2.5....just what I wanted, a great DEEP growl that makes it sound a little like a expensive European sports car. A lot of the tone comes when you let off the gas to shift, real nice....and not too loud. My power steering pump is louder much of the time....lol.
I would recommend this muffler to anyone w/ a 4 banger....if there not looking for a real loud exhaust (w/ usually sounds terrible on a 4cyl.)

Dynomax makes a great muffler! good alternative to Magnaflow, especially if you dont like the Flowmaster "drone" IMO

$23.95 @ Summit (#17711 2"ID)....all you need is a 2" straight piece of pipe from Auto Zone and 3 - 2 1/8" clamps to install it to the stock pipes. I also made a muffler hanger from strapping and a straight 8" bolt from Home Depot (had that left over from my old muffler, the hanger rusted off).
It sounds GREAT....reminds me of my cousins Porsche 968 he let me drive home from Loudon (NASCAR) one year. Or a BMW 320-4 or Saab 900 but better.

I was going to try "in front of rear wheel" and eliminate the spring/dough-nut thing, but the 2"ID would not fit (inside) the cat pipe....just off enough. A larger size muffler I/O would easily fit right on (over) the cat pipe....take a $12 22" long bent-end tail pipe and put the bent end on the muffler w/ a hanger and your done! About $45 total.
