Engine Question

2.3 4 Cyl. 93 Ranger what other engine would fit in my truck i wanna get something a little more power without having to change everything.. any suggestions?

1993 4.0L OHV... you will need a donor truck... makes life easier

you could always do the turbo swap...using the manifold off a turbo coupe, get a tuner and larger MAf and injectors and some turbo coupe pistons and a turbo and you will be making around 180 hp...i am in the process of doing this myself...just a thought.

Haha... just kidding... Probably a 4.0 wouldn't be the easiest if you didn't want to change everything.

302 haha...from fi to carb...very easy change done it to a friends firebird he went from v6 fi to 350 carb
