Svo swap

Attention lol, Alright My name is mike and im a newby here and somewhat familiar with the 2.3l ranger motor and the svo version. I have a friend who has a 1987 ranger with a five speed who is wanting a good bit more power out of his truck. Im curently looking a complete 1987 turbo coupe motor and i was wanting to know what all needs to take place for the swap to be sucessfully completed. My main concern is wiring... Im assuming that the bell housing will be an identical match to the new block.?

So you want to put an SVO engine into an 87 ranger? Easy breezy man. Is the ranger already a 2.3L? Check out turborangerforums.com for tons more info. Wiring doesn't seem to be too bad as long as everything is there.
