I am wanting to know if I can buy a 88-94 2.3l cylinder head and put in on a 95-01 mine is a 97 ford ranger 2.3l. I know the cams lobes are different widths so the won't interchange without changing the can followers I think. The combustion chambers and ports are different also. There's a $250 price difference. Has anyone ever did this or know of a write up of someone doing this. I am looking for a good head without crack in it also.
