Made some progress again today. Unluckily today will be my last day before going back to work after my post deployment R&R. So I get nights and weekends or Todd does it for me.




Stripped down rear D60



Todd fixing the stuck roll pin so I could pull the spiders and prep them for the new carrier and welding.



Fixed.

did they come from pa by chance...if so they are off my brother old truck...a white 79 f350 the guy that bought it said he was going to part it....i seen them on cl a couple weeks ago, were the other 2 tires worn really bad on the one side to the point of showing thread? If so then those were my brothers and this was the truck they came off of


fronts were bald as a babies *** and rear were in pretty good shape.

That'd be them guy sold them cheaper than I could order a set of rims. I already got a pair of replacements for the 2 that have 0 tread. Whichever is less of a slick will be the spare.

Small world though

Slight update got some parts in front zip locker, viair 2.5 gallon kit, tires/rims, gears, diff covers, new joints. Will get pics up shortly going to remove the chrome and rust from the rims first.

Loaded the tow pig down. 13 tires, and a couple hundred pounds of metal scrap. Still isn't even down to the overload.






Cleaned up the shitty chrome.

Mounted my new tires. Mocked in the fenderwell as well truck is sitting 4-5" short in the rear. Axles should be in Friday night. Will post pics again then.

that thing would look amazing with glass bedsides and fenders. never seen it done before, i bet it would be the coolest truck around

x2!! i plan on putting fiberglass on mine when i sas it. gonna look bad ***!! eb44 and 9in w/37's and glass!!
