does anyone know what kind of upper ball joints these are it doesnt have a castle nut its pinched in the spindle with a bolt and im assuming the ball joint itself is pressed into the upper a arm, if anyone knows what kind these are and where i can buy them that would.be great

 

Noob here. Are those upper control arm custom made? ....a "homemade" mod or something someone sells?

If it's the latter, ask them, no?

 

According to Ford the upper ball joint is not serviceable. To replace the upper ball joint one must replace the upper control arm which includes the ball joint. Once replaced some manufacturers will make a serviceable ball joint with their arm. Another observation is that the control arm showing does not look like a factory piece, as mentioned it looks custom made, google ranger 2wd upper control arm and you will see
