is 2wd and 4wd front end components same?

Hi all, got a 03 ranger 4.0 fx4 lvl 2, im wondering if all the front end components are the same such as tie rod ends, ball joints, control arms, etc. I am looking to order a full front end kit online and seeing mixed things about if the parts are compatible or not. Any input would be appreciated. Would like to rebuilt my front end prior to doing the wheel alignment, might as well since im gonna throw money out for a proper alignment.
Thanks all!

No, they are not
There will be some parts that are the same, so not all parts are different

Have a look here: https://therangerstation.com/tech_li...spension.shtml

commonly on eBay and Amazon it says 2wd and 4x4 for my 03 ranger. Which is why I’m confused

Looks pretty straight forward, says its for torsion bar suspension vehicles

Do you have torsion bars or coil springs?

If torsion bars then parts will fit

Most 2WD 1998 and up Rangers stayed with coil springs, all 4x4s got torsion bars, and some 2wd Edge Models as well
