oh wait if you mean the tread width of the tires it is 9.6456inches. I have the 245/45/17s on my 17x8in wheels.

 

my tire height is 25.6811inches.

Billy's wiht 245/45/18 is going to be 26.6811inches tall

 

diameter...distance from one side to the other.....you didnt take a xl emblem off?

 

245/40/18 so tread width is 9.64" and 25.71" tall

No, they didn't have an XL emblem like the XLTs have. I just have "Ranger" on the fenders.

Ah i see. I think most take a heat gun and a plastic putty knife to get them off. Can anyone confirm this???

I've never worried about it because you have to fill (i.e. weld) the holes left and then primer'n'paint. That is a lot of work. But you might think its worth it.

 

A heat gun will get them warm enough to pull off, then re-heat the goop left over and it comes right off. I agree with Grant tho, unless you want to weld fill and repaint, leave them on!
