Add-A-Leaf or helper spring

Add-A-Leaf or helper spring which is your choice and why. Ride? Weight? I'll be hauling a trailer.

Helper spring it great for towing. As I understand it it gives you a greater towing capacity or something..blah don't listen to me but FLRERUNNER on G-E has the helper and swears by them. I think the AAL will just stiffen you up a bit and give you a bit of height whereas the helper spring will improve your stability, increase towing ability and decrease axle wrap...I would go with helper spring.

i say helper springs or air bags, i got AALs for that just cause im cheap, they work ok but it will really help with helper springs or bags.

with my AALs i took out the 2 inch block and put in a 1 inch block so it doesnt have that nasty rake.

more than that maybe 2-3 inches. i put mine in with my blocks and wowo

im thinking about taking my 1 inch block out now and just having the AAL.

although my AALs and leaf springs are not in the best shape, too much weight and stress on them.

I have used both AAL and air springs over the years and I prefer air springs because I can adjust them down when not towing. Both have some drawbacks but the air springs work the best for me.
