more payload, more articulation, more lift without blocks, less axle wrap (at least i don't have this issue)...

that sums it up shortly.

I'm running a Chevy after market lift spring so no blocks and just spring...

is it worth the work to do? cuz im sure you have to drill out the old hanger relocate and drill new holes for the chev ones etc...

Id depends on which ones you buy... (4x4 or 4x2). I had the 4x4 ones on my truck and the payload was amazing but it rode like *** (way too stiff in the rear.. would lauch off speedbumps going at like 5 mph lol).

but then again, i didnt have anywhere near 6 inches of lift. I had to double up the shackles in the rear in order to bring the back end down enough so it didnt have a goofie huge rake

get a chevy aftermarket lift spring! if a stock chevy leaf spring lifts a ranger 2-3 inches...

and you need to go 6" higher than stock i would say a 3-4" chevy lift spring would do it well for you.

^^ x2
if anything, you may need to add a 1 or 2 inch block, but thats nothing compaired to a 4 in lift block.
