yea I plan on just buying the whole kit he said he's going to offer, I sent him a pm too. I'm just not sure who is supposed to be welding the brackets?

That should work OK.
From what I have seen of ORW/Nick there OK and I would buy from them again.
I wish I had bought my lift from them now but can’t change the past.

ORW will, Nick stated they will Water Jet cut and MIG Weld, if I read it correctly !

The parts will all be cut out using a water jet and then mig welded. Should be a nice piece when finished.

i used a magnetic particle inspection to test out my brackets because i was concerned about the welds... well there was several voids under the welds so I guess im going to have to get them re-welded.

damn I wish I woulda waited to get these made by ORW

I just received an e-mail from Jacob yesterday asking me if ORW would be interested in making the coil-over conversion brackets. I told him that this has been something that we had started to look into, like some of you know and should be finished this week. I'm hopping to have a few sets cut out by Saturday and have more available in 2wks. The parts will all be cut out using a water jet and then mig welded. Should be a nice piece when finished. The cost should be relatively close to the same, with the exception that they will come with hardware. As soon as I get a price, you guys will be the first to know.
I'm also thinking of offering a package deal with the shocks which will offer even more savings for RF members that are still interested in doing the conversion.

Thanks
Nick
I'm totally down for this...I was suuuuper excited when I read about ORW doing their own stuff on another ranger board(TRS). I sent a person named Ryan to ya and he's who told me about it. Have been plugging ORW on other sites too soley based on what I see of customer service here, havn't not been a customer(yet). Let's hope I'm in a good situation when the kits are offered.

I had the welds on my brackets inspected as well and found only a few issues with them. I had them re-welded and all welds double passed to be sure. That's why it took so long for me to have the brackets powercoated once I received them.

Same here...

Good Luck!
