new to this site but looking for direction. I have a 2003 ranger edge 4x4 4.0L I recently put torch 3", 2" lift and level kit, new wulf extended shocks , 3 inch Hub-centric wheel adapters to go to 6x135 bolt patterns for 2020 Lariat take offs, tires are not new but just balanced when they did the alignment . tires are 275/55 R20. with all that said. over 45 you can feel the front end start to get loose, if you hit the brakes or hit a bump above 65 it gets very sketchy about whether or not you can hold on, nothing in the front end seemed bad before the lift, no clunking or banging. it is really no better after the alignment and balance than it was before. i am going to put it back on the lift in the next couple days to recheck the suspension but do not expect to find anything as neither I saw anything before and they didn't try to sell me anything when they did the alignment. My current ideas are, 1) there was something worn and is now exacerbated by the lift and tires, 2) or the alignment and or balance from shop is junk ( don't have the numbers in front of me for the changes they made) , 3) could have a bent rim or defective spacer . any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Something else I notice was the front axles are at pretty steep angles and I dont recall reading anywhere that there was issues with them when doing this lift.
