Leaf Springs

So on my 1999 2wd 3.0L Ranger I want to get new leaf springs. The ones I have on the back are super stiff and my guess is because they are as old as the truck and I was wondering what I should maybe get for a smoother ride.

Check the leaf pack size by counting the leafs you have. Some of the Rangers only had 2 leafs with an overload to be a soft ride. From there it’s up to the correct shocks. 70/30 shock work well. If you’re loaded and pressing on the overloads, the ride will still be stiff. Air bags can help us in this case.
