In need of some advice..

I got a 99 2wd ranger 4.0l w/8.8 rearend. Ive put a 3in body lift on it but am waiting to do the suspension to get tires. which leads me to the need of some advice. Im really leaning towards the RCD 6in lift. I got 15x7 wheels right now and was curious as to what size tire i could go without getting new wheels.trying not get new wheels because my uncle just put some brand new american racing wheels on it before he sold it to me. any suggestions or advice on suspension and tires would be awsome. thanks in advance!!

I'd probably go no bigger then 33x12.5x15. I know they'll fit on 15x7 wheels... just be a little bulged.

You could probably also do 35x10.5x15 (not sure if they make those or not). But IMO that's too narrow for a 35 to look good.

With a 6in Suspension lift and a 3 in Body Lift... 32 will look tiny! I'd go no smaller then 33's if you are going with that much lift.

Secondly, RCD is great lift from what I've read, but I'm pretty sure you have to buy it used as they stopped making the 98+ Kit (which also means no replacement parts).

kit is still around in places but like said cant get parts for it any more. i could be wrong on this but the rcd kit is for 4x4 trucks your 2wd that kit will not work on your truck

RCD stopped making the 4x4 kit but still make a 2wd 6" kit for coil spring rangers.. assuming thats what he has anyway.

I do have the coil spring suspension. I was on rcds website yesterday and they still show the kit. wheather or not its still made is the question. im going to give them a call on monday to verify. Is that kit a reliable kit. Im not gonna be doing any jumping. just some good all around offroading fun sand mud rugged terrain. If any one else suggest a better or more reliable kit please do.

not sure on the price for the RCD kit offhand but Camburg 5.5? Runs about $1800 I think, or H and M motorsports kits is $1700. Both are made to take much more abuse than Fabtech/RCD/Doetsch kits.
