Is your link setup a kit or is it a one off custom fab. I am aways off from doing anything with the rear suspension (have to absorb the cost of the front) but I am willing to consider all options. Besides, it would be better to do it right the first time. Is it significantly more expensive and what all is required? I am assuming: bed cage, remote resi coil overs, bypass shocks, bumps, limit straps, links and trailing arms. Am I missing anything?

Yes and yes. The trailing arms and mounts are from Giant Motorsports (WIY) but everything else is custom.
Nothing wrong with leafs.
Very much so.
+ Fuel cell, pump, filter, plumbing items, rear axle (need a 9", can't weld to the cast 8.8 center section), roll cage, seats, harnesses, ect ect... this is pages long.

Got me there, I was trying to keep it limited to the rear suspension components. There are obviously several other components that go into building a complete truck. For my use it sounds like a 4-link would be overkill and over the top expensive. I will stick with my original plan to pursue a deaver setup in the future. I was unaware of the 8.8 issue - good to know.

Believe me, I was of the same mindset as you until I got into it and realized how much everything is affected by the rear suspension.
Stick with Deavers and a nicely tuned 2.5" shock, you'll be happy.
