RCD pics
- My coils and front shocks aren't maxed out (wear and tear/too stiff of on and off-road ride)
- doesn't look that bad, but is noticeable by me (probably because I'm aware of it)
- I get compliments none the less and no one has yet to go "hey, but ya still got a rake" (bite me you sarcastic POS's that will now post that here or PM me, lol)
There's a place near me called the shock shop that sells the 750lb 12x2.5 coils for $52.50 a coil. I'll call them up and see what they can do for the 14in coil at 650lb.... The only problem after that (once I get em) is gonna be finding a good compressor to get them in and keep them compressed until I get the whole unit put in the truck lol
Anyone think I should run the 14in coils in a certain rating? I really want to use them, but if no ones used them it may be for a reason!
I still don't under stand how you're clearin 37's with just the RCD and those springs Evan lol

i didnt see a way to crank the 14" coil to the right adjustment i wanted..it was SO tight on the coil compressor machine..kinda scary so i just went with the 12s..i sold my 14s a few months ago..
if you get the 12" 750 rating..with your body lift it would be perfect -- IMO

Alright thanks Evan. I'll most likely get the 750lb 12in coils... Seems like they're a lot easier! Any ideas on where to get a good spring compressor for this task? Maybe Autozone or something like that?
btw, did you ever get your front end to sit level? lol

i borrowed a compressor from autozone to fit mine. Using hand wrenches it took a while. Have fun, the PITA was cranking the adjusters while on the truck, weight or no weight on the suspension. I had a badass blister on the palm of my right hand from all the cranking (initial compressing of the springs and then later when adjusting).
See I'll compress them good and then put them over ther coil over and then what I'll do is run the adjuster almost all the way down then let the spring out... So I can get an ok one from AutoZone?
i got a buddy who has one at his shop so i did it all there where i lifted it
yes it sat level..sits level to this day..
now im not running the rear kit..NOTHING on the rear but shocks..
ive got a beltech shackle
chevy procomp lift springs with overload spring out..no blocks just start axle..sits perfect..
