ProComp ATs = great in snow

Yup we got our first snow of the season here and went for a little ride with sarah to see how the tires are.

traction is 10 fold over the RT/S...(not much of a suprise). braking seems very steady and controlled, about the same as what i felt with the BFG ATs i had on my truck and what is currently on my dads. pulling out is easy and very controlled and control at speeds is like on a dry road.

overall i think they are one of the best snow tires for a 4wd i have ever been in. they are on par with the BFG ATs in every aspect.

the test conditions were approx 1 inch if powdery snow with a slight layer of ice under neath. i cant wait to see how they work in 12+ inches

i had good luck with the PC mudders in the snow last year on the effer, but the center tread siping has worn significantly so this year is up in the air...

Yea I love my A/Ts in the snow. But, up at my cabin in utah I also have a set of 15x8 American Racing Stics-5 Chrome on Studded BFG muds for the serious snow / ice traction. Nothing beats studded tires on ice and snow, but I must say, these A/Ts come pretty freakin close!

I have the 33x12.50x15 pro comp A/T's and they are awesome everywhere...i had the bf goodrich 33's but they didnt do as good in the snow...the pro comps have more spread out tread pattern and ive put over 30k miles on mine and they still have more than 60% tread life left

I have AT's and they absolutly suck in the snow. I think it has to do with the tread pattern though.
