What is the best sand tire in ur opinion

Ok.... thinking long term here. I want to buy a spare tire to match my next set of tires/rims. I want to buy them primarily to run Silver Lake Dunes. I have been looking (and drooling) through picture from previous RF meets and from other sites. I have seen every thing from H/T's to boggers. I am kinda confused. I always heard run the widest possible A/T. I have heard Thornbirds are a god sand tire. True? What about Nitto Terra Dune Grapplers?

Yea something wide will get you through, you don't necessarily want a huge tread pattern, that is good for digging you on deeper. You want the tires to sit on top of the sand.

Those ugly **** Truxus tires are sand tires and do pretty well in it. I hate to say it cuz I hated the tires, but my 36x13.5 Irocks were always great on the beaches at the Outerbanks. Now I boggers on & they suck in the sand so I gess I'll have to bring a shovel with me this year so I can dig my self ouf out. lol

Yes, the trxus STS are a GREAT tire in the sand, especially if you get the bias ply ones. They make them extra wide for that purpose, like their 31 is 11.5 inches wide.
