DDM HID install help
so i just got my HID's in from ddm tuning. i got the 9007 8000k 55w high beam low beam. here is my problem. the bulbs are longer then a stock buld and inside the head light there is the that silver round piece that helps reflect the light and the buld hits that. is there a way you can tweak that piece maybe bend it a little bit so the bulb will fit in there.. any imput would be nice i wana try and figure it out before it gets dark out..

Hmm. I didnt have that issue but I went with the 35w kit. Any reason you chose 55w over 35w? The 35w is PLENTY bright. My headlights are aimed way down because of how bright they are. I wouldn't bend that piece because thats what the light reflects off of and you'll have to do major adjustment of your headlights to get them to not blind people.

55W is total d!ck move I dont care what anyone says. 55W for maybe fogs.. even though that is a lot of heat for them. But that bright a light in a head light is ridiculous to other drivers. Driving a car that is lowered i can really feel for some people. I have HIDs in my car but that are in a projector housing like they should be and auto aim themselves a certain height everytime i turn the car on. I dont even run them in my truck much anymore cause its just harsh on people and if i do i run an 8000k which isnt as bright and i aim them way down on a 35w bulb.
