rolls over really slow

rolls over really slow

i fixed the whole fuel pump thing in my 94 ranger but still whenever i go to start it it rolls over really slow and then picks up a little but almost doesnt want to start its rolling over so slow. nothing is siezed up and i got a new battery a while back and have plenty of charge from the alternator. any ideas.

turn the motor over by hand to see if you can feel any thing broken

spray some starting fluid in the intake and see if it starts that way

Charge the battery.

The place you bought it from will probably charge it for free.

Original starter or starter solenoid ? Pull the starter and have it checked. Solenoids go bad with age (contacts get pitted,burnt) so you may want to change it out.
Check the bolts holding the starter to the engine as that is where it gets its ground , make sure they're tight.

thanks for the advice guys ill look into the ground wires. one more thing when i hook it up to another truck to jump it it rolls over fast so what do you think hat means.
