Which 3.0 can go into my 04 ranger?
Been trying to do research but I need more help
Im looking to purchase a 3.0 engine for my 2004 Ford Ranger so I’m trying to see what will fit my truck without purchasing a new transmission

Assuming you have a 3.0l in your 2004 now..........................
Its a 3.0l OHV Vulcan engine
Used in Rangers from 1991 thru 2008, and Mazda B3000 from 1994 thru 2008
Any year will work in your 2004
But 1999 thru 2008 would be best match up for fuel system and cam sensor
Gas only or Flex Fuel matters but ONLY for fuel injector size
