94 to 01 Swap Help

Here’s my list of things I’m thinking I need to get to convert the 1994 3.0 into my 2001 Mazda b3000Oil

Oil filter

Air filter

Coolant

Freeze plugs/Core plugs

Motor mounts

Clutch/flywheel

2001 3.0 gasket kit

Oil pump

Plugs/Wires

Belt

Timing belt/ if chain, new guides

Now I have a few questions. What else do I need? What do I not need? Is the 1994 3.0 equipped with self adjusting valves like the 2001? Thank you for all your help.

Not sure you need motor mounts, just inspect what you have for cracks in the rubber

You need an intake gasket set(2001) and exhaust manifold gaskets(2001)
Also oil pan gasket(2001)
Timing chain cover gasket with water pump gasket(2001)
You may want a new water pump, inspect it

Full gasket set will have head gaskets, so buying separately may cost less

Timing chain is most likely OK there are no guides or a tensioner on the 3.0l, but a new timing chain set is not expensive

All 3.0l Vulcan engines have hydraulic lifters, so self adjusting
