99 3.0 crank no start
99 3.0 crank no start
99 3.0 , was driving one day when truck died , tow it home blew the head gasket. Replaced head gaskets , water pump , radiator, thermostat, get everything put back and it wont start , got gas , got spark cranks but no start .
That makes no sense.
Spark plugs have nothing to do with the fuel pump, and there is no distributor on a 99 3.0

How do you know it has spark? How do you know it has fuel? I would do the 50-50 test. Get some starting fluid and give it a try. If it tries to run, you’re not getting any gas. And you know you have spark. If nothing happens most likely you don’t have spark
got spark now i tried brake cleaner in throttle body and it did start turned it off and trying to figure it out now , i did put a new fuel pump and i am getting pressure at the fuel pressure regulator any thoughts
OK well now you know it’s not getting fuel. When you turn the key on, can you hear the fuel pump run for a couple seconds? I believe here on the forum you could find out how to check what the fuel pressure should be. I’ll look around myself and see if I can find info
i hear the pump prime and it dose have fuel pressure, i turned it on with starter fluid and let it run for like 30 mins no issues . I turned it off for like 30 seconds and tried to start it turned on no problem without any starter fluid . if i leave it sit to long it would need to start up with starter fluid but it wont die it starts up and runs fine
