Confused

2000 Ranger 3.0 Flex Fuel 4x4 automatic

I had to replace the thermostat and in doing so I unplugged some of the sensors/components surrounding the hose. After I made the repair I plugged everything back in and now the engine is running erratic. When first started it runs good and then as the engine warms up it becomes more erratic and tries to stall out. I'm unable to drive it due to lack of power when trying to accelerate. My check engine lights is apparently blown because I don't have a light on. I had the codes read and it popped a bunch of codes up.

P0176; P1747; P0743; P0750; P0755; P0760; P1451; P0135; P0155

I know what they're for but I'm trying to find a cause of why all of them all at one time. Again this didn't start till I replaced the thermostat and I know that wasn't the cause. SO I think it has something to do with me unplugging and plugging the wires back in. I'm hoping someone else has had this issue and could provide some feedback of what may have been the cause.

I have not had this problem but have a couple things to consider. Did you make sure all connection are fully seated. Did you use dielectric grease when you assemble them. Could you have damaged the connectors or wiring when disconnecting them. Did you replace any of the sensors.

I've verified all connections and wiring are in good shape. Again the only thing that's been replaced before the issue arose was the thermostat. I'm just not sure of weather I should be checking fuses and relays or if it's going to be a sensor itself. With all those codes at one time just seems odd.

Did you unhook the Ground cable on the battery when doing the work?
You should always do this, it was a safety issue years ago, now it protects the electronics from voltage spikes.

If not unhook it now and wait at least 5 minutes, or if you have a scanner clear the codes and reboot computer.

Code P0176 is the big one, Flex Fuel sensor, read here: http://www.justanswer.com/ford/1aqfp...s-rough-i.html

P1747 is a transmission code, check wires going down to transmission, especially near exhaust pipes, and check connectors on transmission, water can get inside connections.

P0743, P0750, P0755, P0760 more transmission codes, check wiring, to get all these codes I would say a connector has been unplugged

P1451 EVAP system

P0135 O2 sensor Bank 1

P0155 O2 sensor Bank 2

This all points to wiring issue or computer failure

Turns out it ended up being a fuse, not sure of which fuse it was considering my labels were all worn out. A 15 amp fuse was blown and it is what caused all of my issues. I replaced the fuse and now my issues are all gone. I drove it around after cleaning out all the codes and no other codes appeared. I was very surprised it was a fuse that caused all of this headache.

yes, that is an odd one, was the fuse in the engine fuse box or cab fuse box?

I look at both and couldn't see a 15amp(light blue) fuse that if blown would account for all those codes
