Knocking engine
Welcome to the forum
Its always helpful to post code definitions with the code, as NO ONE has them all memorized, lol
Hopefully you already looked them up, list here if needed: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...gitcodes.shtml
"Knocking" has a dual meanings
Pinging or knocking means pre-detonation, like what a diesel engine sounds like, can happen on gasoline engines usually only when accelerating after engine is already warmed up, running higher octane fuel can make this go away
Then there is a rod or main bearing Knock, a lower frequency thump/knock, engine rebuild time
