Truck either sputters or won't go after filling up with gas
I own a 99 4wd 3.0L Auto with 200,500 miles on it roughly. I have never had any major problems until here recently. At the advice from my mechanic I have switched to using straight gasoline that has no ethanol in it due to a pinging and knocking problem I have.
There is 2 gas stations that offer non-ethanol gas. I have been using it and I noticed the 2nd or 3rd time right after I filled up and was heading home, the truck's engine reved up but I wasn't getting any power i'd only be creeping. I stopped for roughly a minute or two and tried going again, everything worked fine. This only occurs right after I put gas in my truck. I don't think switching to this gas station has anything to do with it. Any other time it goes into D without any fuss. The gas station is on a flat surface so no hills. I don't know what's going on as my truck is running like a top any other time.
Any advice or suggestions? I would like to know now before I end up with a bigger problem.

Hmmm I know I wish we had a gas station without ethanol but as far as your problem try changing your fuel filter as that will sometimes clog and cause some of the problems you speak of
Pull the codes and see if one comes up for the canister purge valve , it may be sticking open and sucking raw gas from the tank after filling it up. Also if it stays open and the gas cap leaks it will mimmick a vacuum leak which causes a lean condition that may cause pinging.
BINGO.
I'll bet money that its the purge. Most times cars wont even start after you fill the tank up if the purge is bad.

My check engine light is on, but it's for 2 codes that I'm already aware of. One for my O2 sensor past the cat and Two, it's for emissions. I haven't checked it here lately but I will see what other codes, if any it throws.
I will also check the fuel filter. Hopefully it's just something simple.
