Mystery hose

'94 Ext Cab, 4WD.

Does anyone know where this goes? It was hanging on for dear life right by the crankshaft position sensor. It says "vacuum brake" on it. I could not find two nozzles where it would fit near where I found it. Any ideas???

Thank you.

First guess, it goes from the vacuum brake booster to the intake manifold.

Welcome to the forum

1994 4.0l Ranger, always good to include that info with any questions

Look on the oil filler tube
Should be a hose from that tube to the Air Plenum(big tube that runs from air cleaner to the engine

Look here: https://imgur.com/KRAWQMS

To the left of alternator, the hose that runs under the AC hoses, it runs to oil filler tube

"vacuum/brake" designation just means is not made for use as a coolant hose, just air
