i frigen wish!.. its just sitting at the lame points, like final wiring. I finally have time to get working on it since work is back to not so crazy times with 60hr weeks.

also i had to wait for my exp. keys to come and for the no-slip that i purchased to arrive so i can get my ranger diff back in to register VSS.

So finally..i should be drving this damn thing soon.. its rather depressing

My truck should be done atleast by Tuesday, its getting worked on good tomarrow and friday, and final touchs, exhaust etc next week. I need to get the pats keys i got sync'd to the truck and then i can fire it up. I'm going to take some pics tomarrow and friday of more progress.

sorry for the long delay in this whole project but its just been a crazy few months for me...and basically its gona make my year driving this thing again

yah like every other big truck? I don't mean that in a disparaging way, jus sayin that's what they all have. My buddy has that on his durango, real V8 sounds sick compared to my exhaust.

I wanna get my new system in, because I need to bump some new music. And as I said, let's get some spare front emblems from John's and make them light up.

..no not like every truck. i hate dual exhaust why do you think ive had side exits and dumps all the time. I'm saying it will basically be dual dumps after the rear axle behing the bumper. somewhat hidden

^ hells yeah, i cant wait. i went from open to a crapy mustang LSD and that thing blew.. i cant wait to use the no slip.

Update:

PATS is in and all i need to do is get the keys programmed and i think that happening on monday cause tomarrow is gona be putting in the d-shaft ,locker, efan, etc. Also we kinda half started it(turned it over via starter grounding heh) and everything sounds like it should i cant wait to fire it up for real.

With the older Explorer/Ranger PATS, you should be able to turn the starter on by using the ignition key even if PATS isn't operational yet. There is no PATS starter disable in that system. It won't run but it should crank over.

If the starter cannot be activated using the key, then check to be sure that you've grounded the DB/OR from the Ranger starter relay. Without that added ground, it won't crank even if you get the PATS system properly programmed.

oh i know that Bob.. i just didnt have my keys cut yet. Also i was lazy and while i was under putting in the starter we tried it that way for the hell of it. Never did try the ranger key

Another thing i have to figure out tomarrow ... (retard moment) was seeing if my dual fan is too big or not..and if selling my old e-fan was a bad idea heh. I ment to get dimensions before i got it but oh well it was cheap and i can get one to fit on saturday if it wont. The single Taurus fan was very powerful..i dont know why i decided i didnt want it

OK, just wanted to make sure because we ddn't talk about that aspect in the PMs. Your Ranger key should run the starter.
