Ive heard that box was not to happy with it but for 130 I guess you could not go wrong.

I also enjoy seeing other peoples ideas.

The ideas for the 6x9s was more for vocals no highs, Its hard to get crisp mids out of 6x8 in reality i believe most are 5x7s

In the end it will be something i will have to play with and just make it the ay i want it but as i said before I enjoy seeing other peoples ideas. Kinda what i do with my mustang.

How do you like the JL Audio subs, do they have good excursion for an 8" and how large was the magnet. Also how does it sound with deep notes.?

That's my old box. i recently just built a new one because i didn't pay much attention to quality on this one. my new box is a little smaller too. still has the JL w1's tho.

I think the 8" is perfect for the size of our cabs, but I don't have much to compare it to. I don't think any other 8" sub would be nearly as loud. I had two 10" solo-barics and they were overkill. The sound quality is great, that's why I went with the w7. It doesn't take much to make a system loud in our small trucks so I went with the best sound quality. I didn't get any pics of the magnet but there is barely any room between the magnet and the back of the box, so I wasn't able to make the box any smaller than what's pictured, it's very long for an 8" sub. If you go to JL's website they should have pictures and dimensions of all their subs.

Yeah maybe i will do some odd configure 3 8s or 4 8's but nothing massive, just something to give some good punch a nice little ruble and some good midrange

it doesn't sound bad at all. hits pretty good for one 10. don't expect to get your ears blown off though.
