I also enjoy seeing other peoples ideas.
The ideas for the 6x9s was more for vocals no highs, Its hard to get crisp mids out of 6x8 in reality i believe most are 5x7s
In the end it will be something i will have to play with and just make it the ay i want it but as i said before I enjoy seeing other peoples ideas. Kinda what i do with my mustang.

I think the 8" is perfect for the size of our cabs, but I don't have much to compare it to. I don't think any other 8" sub would be nearly as loud. I had two 10" solo-barics and they were overkill. The sound quality is great, that's why I went with the w7. It doesn't take much to make a system loud in our small trucks so I went with the best sound quality. I didn't get any pics of the magnet but there is barely any room between the magnet and the back of the box, so I wasn't able to make the box any smaller than what's pictured, it's very long for an 8" sub. If you go to JL's website they should have pictures and dimensions of all their subs.
