2003 fuse box - wiper relay fuel pump relay stuck
2003 2.3L Duratec
I have close to the same fuse box as Nigel... (thanks for posting the pic Nigel), The important part is the lower left corner, which is the same on my truck.
I can't gently remove any of the larger relays in the lower left.... 45A 45B 46A or 46B (Nigel marked the 46-ers with "?") those are all stuck.
Before I really start prying and yanking and breaking things.... is there a trick to getting them to release?
Thanks

nevermind.... I started with the wiper relay 45A thinking if I broke it I could still drive to get a replacement. Flat screwdriver under the little lip at the top on one side, giave a little wiggle, switch to the other side, back and forth. Finally popped off, though it went flying. that gave a lot more room to work on the fuel pump relay 46A.

No, none visibile to naked eye at least. I have no reason to believe they have been removed (or left in place) since it rolled off the line. Just don't know. My guess is that the contacts are oxidized, and somehow that made them sticky. Any suggestions for goop to smear on next time I have them out? Long duration rain has hung up the job, so I'll be into it as soon as skies clear and ground dries after Hurricane Florence rolls through.
