Head Gasket Small water holes?

I needed a Head Gasket for my 2.3L Duratec and ordered it and this is the Gasket they sent me, the water holes are very small and all the Gaskets for my motor are like this, are these some type of new gasket? Will these little water holes be able to cool the head?

Yes, that is normal for the holes to be smaller than the passages, and some block and head passages are even blocked off by the gasket for no flow

This has to do with amount of flow allowed at each port of the head
A water pump has XX flow at idle, if there was no resistance then all the flow would just go to the closest passages
So the size of the holes are calculated for the water pumps minimum flow, so all passages get equal flow, in and OUT, even at lower water pump RPMs

Fluid, or air, flow thru a system can be quite complex to figure out

Most people have "Forced Air" heating/cooling in their homes, the size and length of the ducts and openings, have to be just right so the closest room and farthest away room get the same air flow
