Welcome to the forum

Battery is bad or cables are, no dash lights means no power from battery, do headlights work?

Good battery will read 12.3volts to 12.8volts

Bad battery is 12.2volts or lower

Well before i try to first time , i have dash lights when i turn key for accesseries, but when try to start there is one click and nothing. When I repeate tthe process there is no click and also no dash lights.
One thing i did find out since my first post is that the oms from the socket that holds the starter relay is giving me a OL reading. Does that mean maybe a ground in the line somewhere?
Thanks for reply.

And that tells us you have a loose or dirty battery connection, or the other end of the cable is loose, positive or negative cable.

It might be able to carry the voltage, but it can't handle the amperage required to start.
